I agree with Jim Marshall's views. He doesn't support the idea of the bailout, but he realizes that something has to be done to save the economy, so he voted for it. “I don’t like this rescue plan any better than you do, but I’m not going to stand by and let this crisis undermine our economy and damage the financial future of everyone in America – their jobs, their savings, their dreams.” he said. He stated at the end of his advertisement, “I’m Jim Marshall, and I approve this message because you elected me to do what’s best for America, not what’s easy.” which I also liked.
I also admire the fact that he was willing to give up his seat for this. Supporting this bailout put his position at risk of not being re-elected. I would vote for Jim Marshall if I could.
